New York City Combined Federal Campaign
A MESSAGE FROM YOUR CHAIRPERSON
Dear CFC Supporter:
It is my great pleasure to present you with the results of the 2009-2010 New York City Combined Federal Campaign. Thanks to the outstanding efforts of the many people who volunteered to help with the campaign, notably the Coordinators and Keyworkers in federal facilities throughout New York City, we raised over $2.6 million dollars. On behalf of more than 1,800 local, national and international charities, I would ask that each federal agency take the time to thank the donors and volunteers for making this a successful campaign.
Work on the CFC never really ends, and we are already preparing for next year’s campaign. As always, we will be seeking to increase participation and raise additional funds to help meet the many needs of the people served by the charitable organizations that participate in the CFC campaign. The next campaign begins in September 2010, and I encourage you to visit the website at www.cfc-nyc.org for additional information.
The past year has been one of severe challenges; we have seen the global economic downturn cause economic turmoil around the world, and witnessed scenes of almost unbearable suffering caused by the earthquakes in Haiti and Chile. Through your participation in the Combined Federal Campaign, you have made a statement that the people who are in need do not stand alone, and you have helped enable the charitable organizations to continue their vital work in this country and around the world. At the beginning of the campaign we asked you to “Be the Difference”, and you have been.
Please accept my heartfelt thanks and continued support of the NYC Combined Federal Campaign.
Sincerely,

Bernard Bowles
